The Five Home Collections of Solstice

If you are looking for a new construction home near Littleton or Highlands Ranch, be sure to check out Solstice! Solstice is currently about half-way built out, and will feature around 1100 homes once complete in 2028.

The developer, Shea Homes, has 25 floor plans available. These are split across five "collections" of similar homes.

Harmony at Solstice

The Harmony collection includes the most affordable homes in Solstice. Starting at 680k, this collection offers around 2,000 to 2,700 feet of space across two stories. An unfinished basement space is included with all plans, but finishing through the builder is not available for this collection. These models include up to 5 bedrooms and can essentially provide the same features as larger homes, but the overall design is a bit more compact.

Horizon at Solstice

The Horizon collection is made up of smaller ranch style (single story) homes, starting at 715k and offering 1,800 to 3,200 square feet. With only a single story, they are limited to three bedrooms, one of which is an optional basement bedroom (as basements are an available upgrade for this collection).

Reflection at Solstice

The Reflection collection is a step up from the Horizon models, starting at 850k. These are still ranch-style homes, but they have more spacious floorplans that don't feel as compact. With the added footprint of 2,500 to 3,800 square feet, up to four bedrooms and a finished basement are available.

Stargaze at Solstice

Getting back to two-story homes, the Stargaze collection is essentially a larger version of the Harmony models, with 2,200 to 4,400 square feet and two to six bedrooms. One model is actually a ranch, but the rest are two stories. They start at 780k, but models with upgrades and finished basements are approaching $1mm.

Trails Edge at Solstice

Lastly, Trails Edge is the top collection in Solstice - both in terms of space, and price. These start at 950k (with finished spec homes above $1,100,000), and are all two-story homes with 3,500 to 5,600 square feet. Three to eight bedrooms and finished basements are available. The most expensive plan in this collection (The Walton), deserves a special mention as it has a "multi-gen" design, with a separate living suite for guests or family. Note that while the other collections have plenty of development ahead of them, Trails Edge only has around 15 lots left.

Once you have settled on a collection, you will need to choose a lot, or choose a "spec home" which is already being built on a lot (but doesn't yet have a buyer). Lots that border open space or backup to mountain views will come at a premium.
